And one of the rules that you almost never hear about is HIPAA (The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996): Federal Law that protects your privacy.

One of the things that a good credit repair program should include is an examination of whether or not what’s been reported on your credit report is in line with your privacy rights, under HIPAA.
